 Harvey
Sparks, Pastor
Harvey and his wife Jenifer both grew up in Oklahoma City and
attended Oklahoma Baptist University. Harvey majored in family
psychology, Jenifer in English. After college (1999) they got
married and moved to Norman, Oklahoma, where Harvey had accepted a
position at Immanuel Baptist Church as full-time youth minister.
Jenifer worked for Saxon Publishers (a publisher of K-12 textbooks
and educational programs) as a copy editor.
Beginning in 2001, after Harvey returned from a short-term mission
trip to Myanmar, they began praying about the possibility of serving
God overseas. Harvey began seminary at Southwestern Baptist
Theological Seminary by extension in Shawnee, Oklahoma. In January
2004, before Harvey’s last semester of seminary, they applied with
the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.
A baby girl,
Gracelyn, was born
to them on April 12 of this year. |

 Bruce
Cobler, Minister of Music/Administration
Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Bruce received his Bachelor of Music
Education degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Before
coming to Calvary in 1998, he served at Immanuel Baptist Church in
Tulsa as well as churches in Wichita Falls, Texas, and Oklahoma
City, Add, Carnegie and Owasso, Oklahoma. Bruce and his wife Marcia
have two sons—Nathan and Aaron. |

 Gary
Siess, Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Family Ministries
Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Gary moved to Tulsa 23 years ago. Gary
comes to Calvary with many years of managerial experience in the
secular workplace as well as having served at Eastwood Baptist
Church in the music department and Southwood Baptist Church in lay
positions. Gary surrendered to the ministry at the age of thirteen
while attending Falls Creek Baptist Assembly. He and his wife Tami
have three children, Gary Jr., Trevar and Aubrey.
